About the role
Engage Education is seeking enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistants to support students in a range of welcoming secondary schools across Southwark. Whether you are starting your career in education or already have experience, you will play a vital part in creating a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support students both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support where needed.
- Help foster an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere.
- Encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
Required profile
- Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
- A positive, proactive and flexible attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
