Security Analyst – Cyber Security (CompTIA CySA+, ISO27001) – Belfast

About the role

The company is seeking a Security Analyst to join its fast‑growing cyber‑security team in Belfast. Working on a hybrid basis (approximately two days a week on‑site), you will help protect the organisation by implementing new security solutions and strengthening existing controls.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout and configuration of endpoint protection and email security tools.
• Develop, maintain and update security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with internal and external security audits.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into new technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT or cyber security.
• Hold CompTIA CySA+ and Microsoft Security Operations certifications.
• Good understanding of Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Willingness to work hybrid, attending the Belfast office twice a week.

Required skills

• Microsoft Defender (or equivalent endpoint AV).
• Mimecast (or similar email security platform) and knowledge of SPF, DMARC, DKIM.
• Zscaler (or comparable proxy solution).
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and security audit processes.
