Security Architect – Cloud

About the role

Join a forward‑thinking technology firm delivering large‑scale transformation in a highly regulated environment. As a Cloud Security Architect you will ensure that cloud‑native solutions are built securely from day one, protecting critical services and data.

Key responsibilities

• Design secure architectures across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud environments.
• Conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments for cloud‑based solutions.
• Produce high‑level and detailed security designs aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Embed security throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with solution architects and delivery teams.
• Review cloud solutions against security standards, policies and best practice, providing remediation recommendations.
• Support governance activities and advise stakeholders on cloud security risks, compliance and technical controls.

Required profile

• Strong experience designing secure cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Azure, AWS or Google Cloud security services.
• Proficiency with threat‑modelling methodologies such as STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, networking and cloud‑native security controls.
• Familiarity with CIS, NIST, ISO27001 and security architecture frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and excellent stakeholder communication.
