Security Architect – Digital Platforms

About the role

Join a leading technology firm to shape secure digital experiences for millions of users. As a Security Architect (Digital) you will influence the design and delivery of customer‑facing platforms from concept through to production, ensuring security is built in from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Define security architecture for web, mobile and digital platforms.
• Perform application threat modelling and security design reviews.
• Partner with development teams to embed security into Agile delivery.
• Establish secure design patterns and review authentication, authorisation and API security controls.
• Support penetration testing activities and drive remediation planning.
• Identify security risks and provide pragmatic recommendations.
• Promote DevSecOps and secure development best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing digital applications and online platforms.
• Strong understanding of application security principles and the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with APIs, micro‑services and modern authentication technologies.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in threat modelling and security risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CSSLP are a plus.
