Security Architect – Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Security Architect specialising in infrastructure to shape and protect our enterprise environment. The role will design robust security solutions across servers, virtual platforms and core technology services while influencing strategic programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop security architecture for enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modelling and penetration‑testing support.
• Define security requirements for Windows, Linux, virtualisation and endpoint platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and project teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Review and harden security controls across operating systems, databases and platforms.
• Document security governance, architecture artefacts and remediation actions.
• Communicate technical risks to both technical and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure security architecture.
• Familiarity with security governance frameworks such as NIST, CIS and ISO 27001.
• Ability to work on large‑scale transformation programmes.
• CISSP or equivalent certification is desirable.

• Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Virtualisation technologies.
• Endpoint security, Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Encryption technologies.
• Security standards and best practices (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
• Security assessment, threat modelling and penetration‑testing support.
