Security Driver – Armoured Vehicle (3.5 Tonne)

About the role
Freightserve is seeking experienced Security Drivers to operate armoured 3.5‑tonne vehicles for the transport of high‑value shipments. Based in the Heathrow area, the role involves safeguarding assets while delivering a professional customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver high‑value freight using an armoured vehicle.
- Load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Maintain vigilance and follow road‑safety regulations at all times.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service during trade shows, special events and routine deliveries.
- Adhere to company procedures and security guidelines.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 penalty points).
- Strong ethics, integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional, positive demeanour.
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience, with any employment gaps explained.
- Willingness to undergo a Security DBS check.
