Security Manager – Northern England (Full‑Time)

About the role

Nexus Security, on behalf of Skyblue Solutions, is looking for an experienced and motivated Security Manager to lead security operations across Northern England. The role involves managing service delivery, client relationships, new contract mobilisation, recruitment and training, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and brand protection.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate security service delivery across assigned contracts, including site surveys, risk assessments and health & safety documentation.
• Mobilise new contracts, deliver site‑specific officer training and maintain adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct site appraisals, quality‑assurance inspections and out‑of‑hours visits as required.
• Screen CVs, interview candidates, maintain a training matrix and deliver induction and operational training for security personnel.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, attend meetings, handle complaints and produce performance review reports.
• Maintain accurate site records, weekly operational plans, management reports and manage disciplinary issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security management.
• Motivated and proactive attitude.
• Ability to act as the primary point of contact for client accounts.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
