Security Officer – Edinburgh (Shift)

About the role
We are seeking a reliable Security Officer to join a leading global security company at a core site in East Pilton, Edinburgh. You will be responsible for safeguarding the premises, staff, and visitors while working a rotating 4‑on/4‑off shift covering both day and night periods.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor site access points and control entry/exit.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security.
- Respond to incidents promptly and escalate when necessary.
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintain records.
- Ensure compliance with all site procedures and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the wider security team and the Duty Manager.
Required profile
- Valid, up‑to‑date SIA licence.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to undergo enhanced security screening (five‑year residential history, criminal, financial and employment checks).

- £29,731.44 per annum (£13.61 hour) plus overtime at £20.41 hour.
