Security Officer – Static & Mobile (12‑hr Shifts)

About the role
H&M Security Services Ltd is seeking reliable Security Officers to provide static and mobile coverage for a Balfour Beatty construction site in the Orsett area. The position involves 12‑hour day or night shifts and requires candidates to travel to a rural location using their own transport.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the construction compound.
- Perform gate‑house duties, including visitor and delivery control.
- Write accurate statements and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with client security procedures.
- Hand over duties to the incoming officer 15 minutes before shift start.
Required profile
- Own transport due to lack of public transport.
- Valid Front‑Line SIA licence.
- DBS clearance and a checkable five‑year HMRC work history.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, smart appearance.
- Minimum two years security experience; construction‑site experience is desirable.
