Security Service Engineer – Access Control, Door Entry & CCTV

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Service Engineer to join a well‑established fire and security company serving South East London. The role focuses on servicing, fault‑finding and maintaining door entry, access control and CCTV systems – no new installations are required.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and diagnose faults on door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits and complete accurate service reports.
• Identify remedial works, report findings and ensure minimal system downtime.
• Provide excellent on‑site customer service representing the company.
• Participate in a 1‑in‑7 on‑call rota and respond to out‑of‑hours call‑outs.

Required profile

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities across a wide range of security equipment.
• Previous service‑and‑maintenance background (installation experience not required).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.

• Basic salary £35,000 – £42,000 per year (depending on experience).
