Security Systems Engineer – North London/Enfield/Hertfordshire

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join an established independent security company. The role is field‑based, covering North London, Enfield and Hertfordshire, and involves installing, servicing, maintaining and fault‑finding a range of electronic security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and diagnose Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Visit customer sites across North London, Enfield and Hertfordshire.
• Produce accurate service reports and job documentation.
• Participate in a paid on‑call rota (one week out of every four).
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and industry best practice.

Required profile

• Previous experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
• Familiarity with Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control solutions.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Willingness to take part in the on‑call rota.
