Self-Employed Base Layer Builder – Construction Contractor

About the role

Anglian Home Improvements is expanding its installation teams and is looking for self‑employed Base Layer Builders to deliver high‑quality windows, doors, conservatories and roof trims across South East England. You will work on site, liaising directly with customers to ensure every fit meets the company’s strict safety and craftsmanship standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out precise base‑layer installation of fenestration products at residential sites.
• Collaborate with clients to confirm specifications and address any on‑site queries.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Complete installations efficiently to support continuous project volumes.

Required profile

• Self‑employed or operating as a small team (2‑3 persons).
• Proven installer experience in fenestration or an NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high installation standards.
• Excellent communication and customer‑focused attitude.
