Self-Employed Mortgage Advisor – £50k‑£80k OTE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join a fast‑growing team in Essex on a self‑employed basis. You will benefit from a steady flow of referrals from local estate agencies and have the opportunity to write 10–15 mortgages each month while enjoying attractive commission splits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert mortgage and protection advice to prospective buyers.
• Conduct first‑time appointments and convert enquiries into completed business.
• Collaborate closely with estate‑agency teams to maximise referral opportunities.
• Generate, follow up and manage new business leads.
• Oversee a high volume of mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the mortgage process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor.
• Fully CeMAP qualified.
• Proven ability to generate and convert mortgage business.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Target‑driven, commercially minded and able to manage appointments and sign‑ups.
• Full UK driving licence.
