Self‑Employed Electrician – Commercial Office Refurbishment

About the role
We are seeking a self‑employed electrician for an 8‑week contract in Spencers Wood, South East England. The role involves working 8‑10 hours per day on a commercial office refurbishment, focusing on lighting replacement and floor busbar installation, at a rate of £25 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Replace and upgrade lighting fixtures in a commercial office environment.
- Install and connect floor busbars as part of the refurbishment.
- Perform any related electrical tasks required to complete the project.
Required profile
- Fully qualified electrician.
- Holder of an 18th Edition qualification and an ECS/JIB Card.
- Qualified to carry out 2391 Testing & Inspection.
- Own tools and reliable transport.
- Available to start immediately and able to work self‑employed.
Required skills
- 18th Edition electrical certification.
- ECS/JIB Card.
- 2391 Testing & Inspection competence.
- Experience with busbar installation.
- Knowledge of containment wiring and lighting systems.
What we offer
