About the role
As a Service & Selling Coach in a John Lewis shop, you will help deliver exceptional customer service by training and coaching Partners. You will equip them with the tools and knowledge needed to provide the renowned John Lewis experience, encouraging repeat visits and long‑term loyalty.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct engaging training and coaching sessions for Partners, both in groups and one‑to‑one.
- Provide constructive feedback to support personal development.
- Design creative training approaches to suit different learning styles.
- Plan and deliver induction programmes for new Partners.
- Deliver technical training on shop‑floor tools such as headsets, devices, apps and new learning platforms.
- Stay up‑to‑date with personal learning to champion best‑in‑class service.
Required profile
- Confident trainer and coach, able to work with individuals and groups.
- Strong computer literacy for facilitating training on various systems.
- Excellent customer service background in a retail environment.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage own workload.
