About the role
We are seeking a passionate SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school in Camden from September 2026. The role involves supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH pupils.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes wellbeing and learning.
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists and families to ensure holistic support for each child.
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions to meet academic and emotional needs.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour is desirable.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Patient, resilient and compassionate approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
