About the role
We are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join our growing chartered accountancy practice in Helston. You will be responsible for preparing year‑end accounts, handling tax and VAT compliance and delivering a range of services to a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Manage personal and corporate tax compliance.
- Submit VAT returns and ensure timely filing.
- Provide bookkeeping and other accounting services as required.
Required profile
- AAT studying or qualified, or pursuing ACCA or similar qualification.
- 1‑3+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
- Experience with year‑end accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.
- Motivation to develop technically and progress within the firm.
