Semi-Senior Accountant – Hybrid, Flexible Working

About the role

This is a semi‑senior accountant position within a well‑established accountancy practice. You will work closely with senior team members, supporting a diverse client portfolio while developing your technical expertise. The role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements to help you balance professional and personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts and management accounts for a range of clients.
• Calculate corporation tax and personal tax liabilities.
• Support clients with tax planning and business advice.
• Provide Xero support and training to clients.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Collaborate across the wider business to deliver excellent client service.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing firm.

• Xero
• CCH (advantageous)
