Semi-Senior Accountant

About the role

Butler Rose, a well‑established accountancy practice in East Anglia, is looking for an ambitious Semi‑Senior Accountant to join its growing team. The role offers the chance to develop technical expertise across accounts and tax while working closely with supportive colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to partner review.
• Prepare tax computations and submit returns for individuals and companies.
• Respond to client queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Mentor junior staff and trainees.
• Carry out ad‑hoc accountancy and practice duties as required.

Required profile

• Studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence.
