About the role
Our client, a leading accountancy firm in Central London, is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant. The firm serves a diverse portfolio of clients across media, entertainment, property, professional services and hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end accounts for review by managers or partners
- Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping for client accounts
- Prepare VAT returns and liaise with the tax department
- Respond to enquiries from clients and senior staff
- Participate in external audit engagements
- Provide support and training to junior or trainee accountants
Required profile
- Currently employed as a Trainee Accountant, Junior Accountant or Semi Senior Accountant within an established accountancy firm
- Ability to support partners, managers and senior accountants
- Willingness to develop professionally and take on increasing responsibility
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, client‑focused environment
