Semi Senior Accountant – Yeovil

About the role

We are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join our growing practice in Yeovil. You will be responsible for delivering year‑end accounts, personal and corporate tax returns, VAT filings and a range of other accounting services for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts for SMEs, corporate limited companies and sole traders.
• Compile and submit personal and corporate tax returns.
• Handle VAT returns and related compliance tasks.
• Provide bookkeeping and other advisory services as required.

Required profile

• AAT qualification or studying at Level 3/4, or pursuing ACCA/ACA.
• 2–3 years (or more) experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with year‑end accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.
• Motivation to develop technically and progress within the firm.
