Semi Senior International Audit Associate

About the role

BDO is seeking a Semi Senior professional to join its International Audit team. You will work on coordinated secondary audit services for multinational clients, collaborating with BDO member firms worldwide and contributing to high‑quality, efficient global audit strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver audit engagements for multinational entities, often involving overseas travel.
• Review systems and control environments, perform risk assessments and substantive testing on key risk areas.
• Prepare accurate and transparent audit reports for senior managers, directors and partners.
• Coordinate with global BDO teams to ensure consistent audit methodology across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Studying towards ACA, ACCA, ICAS or an overseas equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP and overall financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in reviewing control environments and conducting risk‑based testing.
• Awareness of regulatory and compliance issues, including anti‑money laundering.
