Semi‑Senior Accountant – Hybrid & Flexible Working

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Semi‑Senior Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Liverpool. The role offers hybrid and flexible working, fully funded study support and the chance to work with a diverse client portfolio while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts and management accounts for a range of clients.
• Calculate corporation tax and personal tax liabilities.
• Support clients with tax planning and business advice.
• Provide Xero support and training to clients.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Collaborate across the wider business to deliver excellent client service.

Required profile

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing firm.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud accounting software, particularly Xero.
• Knowledge of CCH (advantageous).
