SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Primary School

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with SEN pupils in a mainstream primary school. The position is full‑time, term‑time only, and starts as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support for children with special educational needs (Key Stage 1 or 2).
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering personalised learning activities.
- Maintain up‑to‑date safeguarding records and follow school policies.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to senior staff.
Required profile
- Minimum one year experience in a UK primary school (Key Stage 1 or 2).
- Previous experience working with SEN children.
- Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
