SEN Key Worker – 1:1 Support for Learners

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Key Worker to provide 1:1 support for learners with special educational needs. You will work closely with individual students or small groups, helping them engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalised support across a range of subjects and activities.
- Implement interventions outlined in each learner’s EHCP.
- Collaborate with class teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage challenging or at‑risk behaviour using de‑escalation techniques.
- Monitor progress and report observations to senior staff.
Required profile
- Committed, punctual and passionate about inclusive education.
- Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD or other complex needs (experience from any sector is acceptable).
- Comfortable working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups.
- Confident in applying behaviour management strategies.
Required skills
- Behaviour management and de‑escalation techniques.
- Understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning plans.
What we offer
- Competitive daily rate of £95‑£118.
- Flexible start date (ASAP or September 2026).
