SEN Lecturer – Further Education (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role
Our client, a specialist further‑education college in the London Borough of Bromley, is seeking a dedicated SEN Lecturer to support young adults with additional needs. The role involves planning and delivering personalised learning programmes that promote academic, social and independent development.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver differentiated lessons for learners aged 19‑25.
- Assess, monitor and record progress against EHCP outcomes.
- Lead and support Learning Support Assistants.
- Collaborate with therapists, families and external professionals.
- Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with experience in SEND or further‑education settings.
- Passion for supporting learners with autism, learning difficulties, profound disabilities or communication needs.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to fostering independence and employability.
