SEN Midday Meal Supervisor

About the role
We are seeking a part‑time SEN Midday Meal Supervisor to work in a secondary special‑educational‑needs school in Lewisham. The role runs Monday to Friday from 11:45 am until 2 pm, providing one‑to‑one support to pupils during lunchtime.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individual learning plans during meals.
- Promote social and emotional development and independence of students.
- Monitor and assess pupils’ progress and report to teachers and parents.
- Provide dedicated support to children with a range of SEN requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum six months experience working with SEN pupils.
- Patient, adaptable and able to manage challenging situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma (desirable).
- Enhanced DBS check.
