SEN / SEND Tutor – Flexible Teaching Role in Merseyside

About the role
You will join Targeted Provision, an impact‑driven organisation that works with schools and local authorities to improve outcomes for vulnerable learners. The role involves providing flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring for young people with SEND and SEMH needs across core subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in‑person, online or hybrid tutoring in Maths, English or Science for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs (KS1‑KS5).
- Plan and deliver trauma‑informed lessons tailored to individual learning profiles, including MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional needs.
- Collaborate with schools, local authorities and the SEND Support Team to monitor progress and adjust support.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress for each pupil.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD pupils.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Right to work in the UK.
