About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join an SEN‑specialist school in Uxbridge. The role is full‑time and focused on supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons to students with ASD, ADHD and other learning difficulties.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to ensure pupils can engage with classroom activities.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the teaching team.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in a special educational needs setting.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Required skills
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting ASD and ADHD learners.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
