SEN Teacher – Autism & Learning Difficulties (Barking)

About the role
Join an outstanding Ofsted‑rated SEN school in Barking that specialises in autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties and profound multiple learning difficulties. You will work within a supportive senior leadership team to deliver a rich, varied curriculum for KS1/2 pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD and related conditions.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist staff to implement individual education plans.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to multi‑disciplinary meetings.
- Support the creation of a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in special educational needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work with children who have autism, learning difficulties or epilepsy.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
