SEN Teacher – Daily & Long‑Term Cover in North London

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified SEN teachers to provide both short‑term daily cover and longer‑term placements across SEN schools in North and North‑East London. You will deliver lessons, support pupil progress and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for SEN pupils.
• Monitor and support individual pupil progress.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and cover short‑term or daily assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in SEN schools or SEN settings within mainstream schools.
• Strong knowledge of the SEN curriculum and development areas.
• Effective behaviour management skills.
• Adaptability and confidence to step into varied classroom environments.
• Positive, proactive and professional attitude.
