SEN Teacher – Full‑time position in Milton Keynes

About the role

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive school environment in Milton Keynes. This full‑time role involves delivering tailored education for pupils with special educational needs and fostering an inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of SEN pupils.
• Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs and wider school staff.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as required.
• Build constructive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience working with pupils who have special educational needs.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and effective behaviour management.
• Patient, adaptable and committed to helping every child succeed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
