SEN Teacher – Full‑time, Reading (4‑16 yrs)

About the role
We are looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to join a progressive, inclusive school in Reading. You will work with children aged 4 to 16 who have severe or profound learning difficulties, including autism spectrum disorder, and help them achieve academic and personal growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a small, well‑supported class of pupils with complex learning needs.
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual educational goals.
- Support pupils’ emotional regulation and wellbeing throughout the school day.
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists and other SEN professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and adapt strategies as needed.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with a genuine interest in special educational needs.
- Experience or strong enthusiasm for working with children who have severe learning difficulties, ASD or multiple disabilities.
- Commitment to inclusive education and child development.

- Competitive salary range £32,916 – £51,048 per year.
- Full‑time, Monday‑Friday schedule (8:30 am – 3:30 pm).
