SEN Teacher – Inclusive Education in Faversham

About the role

We are seeking passionate SEN Teachers to join our client’s schools in Faversham and surrounding areas. The role involves delivering tailored, inclusive education for primary‑aged pupils with a range of special needs, including autism, SEMH and complex learning requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the unique needs of SEN pupils.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and other staff to support individual learning plans.
• Assess pupil progress regularly and adapt strategies to promote academic and personal growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Uphold school safeguarding and SEN policies at all times.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children with SEN, particularly ASD, SEMH and complex needs.
• Knowledge of appropriate strategies and interventions for primary‑aged pupils.
• Passion for inclusive education and making a positive impact.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced Child‑only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Full legal right to work in the UK.
