SEN Teacher

About the role
Join Witherslack Group as a SEN Teacher, supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will help pupils develop skills, confidence and self‑esteem in a well‑resourced specialist school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons for pupils with complex educational needs.
- Collaborate with in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals to create individualized learning plans.
- Monitor progress, adapt strategies and celebrate small victories that contribute to long‑term development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom and manage challenging behaviours effectively.
Required profile
- Resilient and dedicated with a passion for supporting SEND pupils.
- Experience working with autistic or SE‑MH learners in a primary or secondary setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
