SEN Teacher – Primary (Full‑Time, September Start)

About the role
Academics is looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive primary school in West Sussex starting this September. You will work with primary‑aged pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
- Monitor and assess pupil development, adapting strategies as required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching primary‑aged children, preferably in an SEN or inclusive setting.
- Strong understanding of a range of Special Educational Needs and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Patient, flexible, and compassionate approach.
