SEN Teacher (Primary or Secondary) – Full‑Time, Permanent

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher, either primary or secondary, to join our team in Reading from September 2026 on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role involves supporting pupils with complex special educational needs across the Reading, Thatcham and Newbury area.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with ASD, PMLD, MLD and SLD.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and families to provide a holistic education.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress in academic, communication and independence goals.
• Contribute to the development of inclusive strategies and individual education plans.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or commitment to undertake teacher training.
• Experience in a SEN environment is desirable.
• Strong commitment to inclusive and differentiated teaching.
• Patience, resilience and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
