About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in Reading and the surrounding area from September 2026. The role is suitable for teachers with primary or secondary experience who are passionate about supporting pupils with complex special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with complex needs such as ASD, PMLD, MLD and SLD.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and families to ensure a holistic approach.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress in academic, communication and independence goals.
- Adapt resources and strategies to support inclusion and personal development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or commitment to obtain teacher training.
- Experience or strong interest in working within a SEN environment.
- Commitment to inclusive, differentiated teaching and resilience when supporting complex needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
