SEN Teacher – Primary & Secondary Schools (Blackpool)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to support pupils with additional learning needs across primary and secondary schools in Blackpool. This full‑time, term‑time position offers the chance to make a real difference in an inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
- Create a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents and external professionals.
- Monitor progress and promote confidence, independence and personal growth.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS registration (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Classroom and behaviour management.
