About the role
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEND secondary school in Lambeth. The school supports students aged 11‑19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in a structured, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider school team.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching SEN pupils.
- Adaptable, proactive and confident in managing behaviour.
- Available to start in September.
