SEN Teacher – Specialist School in Lambeth

About the role
We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Lambeth. You will work with pupils aged 4‑19 who have a range of complex special educational needs, delivering a highly differentiated curriculum in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons for small groups, adapting content to meet individual EHCP outcomes.
- Promote independence, positive behaviour and life‑skills development.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, support staff and families to ensure holistic support.
- Monitor progress and produce accurate records for statutory reporting.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and registration to teach SEN.
- Proven experience teaching pupils with additional or complex needs.
- Ability to commute easily to Lambeth and work full‑time on site.
Required skills
- Knowledge of autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and associated communication needs.
- Experience developing and implementing differentiated curricula.
