SEN Teacher – Specialist Setting (Bromley)

About the role
We are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Bromley. You will work with pupils aged 4‑19 who have a range of complex special educational needs, delivering a highly differentiated curriculum in small classes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and associated communication needs.
- Monitor and report progress against each pupil’s EHCP outcomes.
- Promote independence, life‑skills development and positive behaviour.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, support staff and families to ensure holistic support.
- Maintain a structured, engaging learning environment and prepare necessary documentation.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, preferably in a specialist setting.
- Ability to work full‑time and start immediately.
- Reliable commute to Bromley.
Required skills
- Experience with autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Knowledge of EHCP processes and differentiated instruction.
- Behaviour management strategies.
- Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
