SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support for Complex Needs Student

About the role

This full‑time position supports a secondary school student with complex special educational needs. You will work one‑to‑one, providing daily personal care and educational assistance to help the pupil thrive in a mainstream environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and feeding.
• Follow allergy management plans and support feeding requirements.
• Help the student access learning materials and classroom activities.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and parents to ensure consistent support.
• Maintain the student’s safety, wellbeing, and dignity at all times.
