SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support in Rochester

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for children with Special Educational Needs in primary schools across Rochester. You will work closely with pupils, helping them progress academically and socially.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group assistance to pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and behavioural needs.
- Assess students’ progress and discuss development with teachers, parents/carers and external agencies.
- Collaborate with school staff to implement tailored support plans.
- Undertake continuing professional development and obtain relevant accreditation.
Required profile
- Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is highly desirable.
- L2 or L3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred but not essential.
- Background working with children with SEN in an educational or pastoral setting.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Right to work in the UK.
