About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning needs and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in a welcoming primary school in Bury. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, long‑term through an agency.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Deliver tailored interventions under teacher guidance.
- Assist with personal development, communication and learning goals.
- Monitor progress against EHCP outcomes.
- Collaborate with external agencies and school staff.
Required profile
- Experience supporting pupils with complex SEN.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Adaptable and responsive to individual needs.
- Nurturing, child‑centred approach.
- Relevant SEN experience or qualifications.
