About the role
TLTP Education is partnering with a primary school in Greenwich to recruit a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. The position is full‑time, working five days a week, and runs until July 2027. You will support KS1 and KS2 pupils aged 3‑11 in a positive, student‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering tailored lessons for SEN pupils.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Help create a safe, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement.
- Collaborate with staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with SEN children in a primary school setting.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils.
- Positive, adaptable attitude and strong communication skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and classroom support techniques.
