SEN Teaching Assistant – Full‑time Support for Children with Autism & ADHD

About the role

This full‑time position supports children aged 4‑16 with autism, ADHD and other complex learning needs in a specialist school. You will work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and SEN professionals, gaining hands‑on experience that can lead to a career in psychology, education or therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to promote learning and emotional development.
• Assist during lessons, encourage engagement and help manage behaviour.
• Build trusted, supportive relationships with each student.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions.

Required profile

• Graduate or recent graduate in Psychology, Education, Criminology or a related field.
• Passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
• Willingness to work in a school setting on a full‑time basis.

• Competitive daily rate of £90‑£105.
