SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2) – One‑to‑One Support

About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated one‑to‑one support for a child with additional needs who is being reintegrated into the classroom. The role starts in September 2026 and offers the possibility of a temporary‑to‑permanent arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 support to a SEN pupil, assisting with learning, behaviour and social integration.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
- Monitor the pupil’s progress and provide regular feedback to staff.
Required profile
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience supporting SEN children.
- Patience, empathy and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
