SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Islington)

About the role
We are seeking a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive primary school in Islington. You will provide dedicated 1:1 and small‑group support for two KS2 pupils with ADHD, helping them engage with lessons, build confidence, and meet their individual learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalised 1:1 and small‑group assistance to two KS2 pupils with ADHD.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote social and emotional development.
- Assist pupils in accessing curriculum content and achieving set targets.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD, in a primary school setting.
- Ability to travel to Islington and work on‑site.
- Patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping children with complex needs.

- Competitive daily rate of £90‑£110, dependent on experience.
- Full‑time, long‑term placement in a supportive, Ofsted‑graded ‘Good’ school.
