About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Brent‑based primary school from September 2026. You will work in either the Reception class or Year 1, depending on your experience, supporting children with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with SEN, fostering confidence and curiosity.
- Run a nurture group for gifted pupils, creating a calm and caring learning environment.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons and maintaining a safe classroom.
- Help manage behaviour and support children with autism, staying calm in challenging situations.

- Patient, resilient, kind and proactive.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Passion for continuous learning and personal development.
- Aspiring teacher who enjoys teamwork.
Required skills
- Experience supporting children with autism or other special needs.
What we offer
- Full‑time contract with a daily rate of £100‑£110 inclusive of holiday pay.
